Today (Friday) is likely to be the hottest day we will experience until next summer.Cooler air is heading into the region overnight tonight. That will set the stage for a return to cooler and less humid weather.
Temperatures over the weekend and next week will generally top out in the 70s. The following week (week of September 15) daytime highs will only get into the 60s.
